PPSC concludes PSCSCCE Mains 2025 without hitches; sees 10% drop in attendance

The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has successfully conducted the PSCSCCE Mains 2025 examinations from April 1 to April 10, 2026, said the Chairman of the Commission,Major General Vinayak Saini, SM, VSM (Retd)

Providing further details, he said that around 3,900 candidates appeared in the mains examination out of approximately 4,200 candidates who had registered after clearing the preliminary stage.

Elaborating further, Major General Vinayak Saini, SM, VSM (Retd) stated that about 34,000 candidates appeared in the preliminary examination, out of which around 4,300 qualified. Of these, nearly 4,200 candidates registered for the mains examination, indicating that about 10 percent fewer candidates appeared in the mains compared to those who had qualified in the prelims.

“Both the examinations (preliminary and mains) were conducted in a fair, smooth, and robust manner,” he added.

When asked about the expected date of the results, he said that it cannot be predicted at this stage due to the unprecedented number of candidates. “The proper evaluation of PSCSCCE Mains 2025 is a high priority for PPSC. It is a lengthy process, and we also have several other examinations and selections to conduct,” he said.
