PPSC set to announce Civil Services Prelims exam results soon

On December 7, 2025, the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) conducted the preliminary examination of the Punjab State Civil Services Combined Competitive Examination (PSCSCCE)–2025 for 331 posts, and the result is expected to be announced within this fortnight.
In this most awaited, prestigious exam around 33,000 of the 85,192 registered candidates appeared for the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) PSCSCCE-2025 (preliminary) examination.
As per Chairman, Punjab Public Service Commission, Major General Vinayak Saini, SM, VSM (Retd) “the commission is trying to announce the prelim results within this month and the Mains Examination will tentatively be conducted at the end of March or in the month of April next year so that the students can get three months of time for preparation.”
He further added that “after the prelim exam, the commission has got some objections from the applicants within the stipulated time period. Their objections were forwarded to the subject matter experts for clarification. Every objection from the applicant is dealt seriously. After the clarification from the experts the revised answer key will be uploaded. Applicant satisfaction is our utmost priority”.
He further added that “Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for further updates”.

The PSCSCCE-2025 was conducted to recruit officers for the Punjab Civil Service (executive branch) and as deputy superintendent of police, tehsildar, food and civil supply officer, block development and panchayat Officer, assistant registrar co-operative societies, labour-cum-conciliation officer, employment generation, skill development and training officer, excise and taxation officer and deputy superintendent of jails (Grade-II)/district probation officer.
Now, the main examination will be conducted at the end of March or in April next year. In the mains, candidates will have to appear for seven subjective papers, including language, essay, and General Studies. Those who clear the mains examination will be called for the final interview.
