PSPCL director’s post fall vacant; tomorrow another director to retire; one technical member to manage powercom

Today, the term of Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) director distribution DIPS Grewal term ended after regular extensions. Today evening he left the director’s office.
The term of PSPCL’s director commercial, Ravinder Singh Saini is going to end on February 28, 2025.
Now, director generation Harjit Singh is the only technical member remains in the powercom.
All three Harjit Singh, DIPS Grewal, Ravinder Singh Saini are top contenders for the post of CMD, PSPCL. The post of CMD fall vacant after the extended terms of Baldev Singh Sran ended this month. Later the state government gave the charge of CMD to secretary power Ajoy Kumar Sinha.
On February 28,2025 the officiating CMD of PSPCL and secretary power Ajoy Kumar Sinha, IAS is going to chair the whole time director (WTD) meeting, which is going to take place at Chandigarh.
“I’ll attend the WTD at Chandigarh” said the Director Commercial Ravinder Singh Saini, whose term as director is ending tomorrow.Director distribution and director commercial are key also posts of PSPCL.
Along with him director generation, director finance, director administration will attend the WTD.
Meanwhile secretary power-cum-CMD, PSPCL counld not be contacted despite repeated attempts.
