PTA General House Meeting held at Government Bikram College of Commerce

The Annual General House Meeting of parent teacher association (PTA) of Government Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala was held on September 29,2023,presided over by the college Principal Prof. (Dr) Kusum Lata.
The meeting commenced with the lamp lighting ceremony. The welcome note was delivered by Dr Reetu Kapoor (Finance Secretary PTA) expressing gratitude to all the parents, teachers and the guests for their presence. The guests were then introduced acknowledging their valuable contribution to the institution.
The detailed audited annual Statement of account for the previous year was placed before the house.
The PTA secretary declared the committee selected for the present year. The College Principal is the president of PTA. Kanwar Inder Singh was elected as the new senior vice President, Dr Vaneeta Rani vice president, Amita Singla elected as the secretary from among the parents, Prof. Ram Kumar as Joint secretary, Dr Reetu Kapoor as Finance secretary. Advocate Sushil Kumar Sharma, Bhupinder Kaur, Radhika Seth and Kanwaljeet Singh are the members of PTA from among the parents and Dr Paramjit kaur , Sukhbir Kaur and Shashi Bala are members of PTA from among the teachers.
The Principal shared valuable insight with the parents on how to ensure the welfare and strengthen the partnership between parents and the teachers in fostering a conducive learning environment for the students. PTA General Body Meeting also took the opportunity to appreciate the PTA members for their dedication and hard work in supporting various activities and initiatives.
