PTA general house meeting held at Govt Bikram College of Commerce

The Annual General House Meeting of Parents Teachers Association (PTA) of Govt. Bikram College of Commerce, Patiala was held on 08 October, 2022 presided over by the College Principal Prof. (Dr.) Kusum Lata. The meeting started with the lamp lighting ceremony. Dr. Reetu Kapoor (Finance Secretary PTA) welcomed all the guests. The guests present in the meeting introduced themselves. The audited annual detailed report was presented.
The PTA Secretary declared the committee selected for the present year. The College Principal is the president of PTA, Kanwar Inder Singh was elected as the new Senior Vice President. Dr. Vaneeta Rani, Vice President, Amita Singla was elected as the Secretary from among the parents. Prof. Ram Kumar, the Joint Secretary. Dr. Reetu Kapoor will work as Finance Secretary. Bhupinder Kaur, Sushil Kumar Sharma, Angrej Kaur, Radhika Seth, Kanwaljeet Singh and Vipin Kumar were elected as the new members of PTA from among the parents and Dr. Apra, Sukhbir Kaur, Shashi Bala were appointed as new members of PTA from among the teachers.
PTA general house meeting held at Govt Bikram College of Commerce. The College Principal in her address welcomed all the parents and thanked the outgoing officials for their extra ordinary help and cooperation during their tenure. She demanded cooperation from the newly elected committee and the staff to work hand in hand for the betterment and uplift of the institution. The others present were all the teaching, non-teaching, office staff and the students. The program ended with a cup of tea for everyone.
