Punjab cabinet minister convicted by court; sentences him 2 years prison

As per available information, senior aam admi party leader and Punjab cabinet minister Aman Arora has been convicted in an old case and court sentences Arora along with his accomplices for two years under section 452 IPC and one year under section 323, 148,149 IPC and Rs 5000 fine .
As per advocate Tejpal Bhardwaj, it’s an old case when in 2008 MLA Sunam Aman Arora, his mother along with others attacked Rajinder Deepa .Later the victim Deepa filed a private complaint after getting no response from the authorities.He added that now Aman Arora has to vacate his assembly seat as he has been disqualified immediately.
As per law, the lower court can give bail in a sentence upto two years if the victim moves files and Aman Arora is trying for that.
The complainant, Rajinder Deepa, his brother-in-law demanded his expulsion from Punjab cabinet as per Apex court ruling.
Advocate Sushil Kumat Vashist said the court has sentenced nine persons with 2 years of imprisonment in the case pertains to his (Aman Arora) fight with his brother-in-law Rajinder Deepa.
As per initial reports Aman Arora is going to file an appeal in the sessions court.
