Punjab Cabinet Reshuffle; Three portfolios reassigned after Minister’s arrest

The Punjab Cabinet on Monday witnessed a reshuffle with three key departments reassigned to different ministers.
Following the arrest of Sanjiv Arora by the Enforcement Directorate on May 9 ,2026, the Department of Industries & Commerce and Investment Promotion under his charge is now allocated to Aman Arora.
The Department of Power has now been assigned to Tarunpreet Singh Sond , while the Local Government Department has been given to Harjot Singh Bains..
