Punjab CM’s conspicuous absence on social media raises eyebrow

On May 13,2023 Punjab Rajya Sabha Member Parliament (MP) Raghav Chadha and bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra got engaged at a ceremony attended by a chosen few at the Punjab Government’s Kapurthala House , New Delhi.
As per available information, this ceremony of Chadha and Chopra was attended by around 150 guests, which included close family relatives, friends including Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann along with several other celebrities, politicians, family and friends.
After the ceremony, the couple made it official on Instagram, hours after the ceremony and soon after that congratulatory messages started pouring in for the couple on social media. Raghav Chadha even shared this information on his official twitter account also.
Punjab CM’s conspicuous absence on social media raises eyebrow as CM Bhagwant Mann is known for his activeness on social media . Bit, this time didn’t respond or posted any congratulatory message to the newly engaged couple.
“It seems all is not well between Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann and party Rajya Sabha MP from Punjab Raghav Chadha as Mann didn’t congratulate, responded to Chadha’s social media posts. Whereas Raghav Chadha who attended the marriage function of Bhagwant Mann and had shared a photo of Bhagwant Mann’s wedding and congratulated him “@BhagwantMann Sahab and Dr. Gurpreet Kaur ji a happy and blessed married life, when Mann got married ” observed by political analysist Parminder Singh.
Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal who attended the function with his wife Sunita tweeted “Many many congratulations to both of you on the beginning of this new journey of life. God bless both of you always. May this beautiful pair of yours made by God last forever.”
Vikramkit Singh Sahney, Rajya Sabh MP from Punjab who also attended the ring ceremony tweeted “Waheguru jee bless jodi of @raghav_chadha & @ParineetiChopra at Engagment Ardas today blessed by @J_Harpreetsingh Rev Jathedar of Shri Akal Takht Sahib jee & Giani Ranjit Singh of Shri Bangla Sahib & Melodious kirtan by #Bhaijakaransingh”
On Parineeti Chopra’s instagram page Parineeti’s brother-in-law (Priyanka Chopra’s husband) Nick Jonas, bollywood actors including Ayushmaan khurana, Bharti Singh, Vaani Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Ritesh Deshmukh, Neena Gupta, Guneet Monga etc congratulate the newly engaged couple.
Aaditya Thackeray who also attended the function tweeted “Heartiest congratulations @ParineetiChopra and @raghav_chadha ok the engagement.May god bless you both with happiness always.”
Aam Aadmi MP Sanjeev Arora who also attended the ring ceremony , tweeted “Congratulations to the stunning couple, Parineeti & Raghav on their engagement! Wishing a lifetime of love, happiness, and beautiful moments together. God Bless.”
It was Sanjeev Arora who first broke the Raghav and Parineeti’s ‘in relationship’ news and congratulated the couple. He had written, “I extend my heartfelt congratulations to @raghav_chadha and @ParineetiChopra. May their union be blessed with an abundance of love, joy, and companionship. My best wishes.” Kapoor was the first person to congratulate the duo in advance and clear the air on their relationship.
