When the recent floods devastated large parts of Punjab, leaving countless families displaced and vulnerable, the students of Strawberry Fields High School, Mansimar Kaur (Class 11-A) and Eva Jain (IBY1) rose to the occasion with extraordinary resolve. United by empathy and a deep sense of responsibility, they launched a donation drive in Strawberry Fields High School that has affected thousands of families across Punjab.

The initiative mobilized the school community into action.  With overwhelming support from students, parents and teachers, the drive has successfully gathered relief worth over 40 Lakh, including 4 lakh in direct funds (Rs 1.7 lakh online and Rs 2.3 Lakh in cash).

Punjab Flood Donation Drive: Sewa for Humanity

The Punjab Flood Donation Drive at SFHS was far more than an assemblage of supplies, it stood as a living testament to solidarity, compassion, and the conviction that even the smallest gestures, when woven together, can spark waves of meaningful change.

The initiative continues, with online donations still open to all who wish to contribute:https://events.strawberryfieldshighschool.com/OnlineRegistration/EventsInSFHS.aspx

Every act of generosity adds strength to this collective effort and carries the promise of dignity and comfort to those rebuilding their lives.

Above all, this endeavor would not have been possible without the unwavering support of the SFHS community, students, parents, and faculty, who stood shoulder to shoulder in this moment of need. In uniting for Punjab, we have reaffirmed a simple but profound truth: humanity shines its brightest light when service becomes our shared language.

Mansimar Kaur (11A) Said “ I am grateful we had the platform and opportunity to bring this initiative to life. We have witnessed so much kindness and generosity in these past few weeks to step up and help our community in the darkest hour. It truly embodies our school spirit. ”

Eva Jain (IBY1) Said “My co-organiser and I simply opened the doors and the entire community rushed in with a flood of compassion.  It was a beautiful reminder that when hearts open, crises close.”
