Punjab police seeks public help in tracing Amritpal ; released his pictures in multiple looks

“Amritpal Singh is still out of reach of Punjab police. We are releasing his pictures, available on his social media accounts. Help us in tracing Amritpal” said inspector general of police, Sukhchain Singh Gill, while addressing the media, few minutes ago.
Gill added that after dodging the Punjab police, Amritpal changed his vehicle and ran away in a Breeza car along with his four accomplices.
“Later, all five namely Amritpal Singh, Gurdeep Singh alias Deepa, Manpreet Singh alias Manna, Gurjej Singh and Harpreet Singh alias Happy reached village Nangal Ambia. There Amritpal changed his cloth at a gurudwara and again ran away with three other persons on two motor cycles. The four others Manpreet Singh, Harpreet Singh, Gurbej Singh and Gurdeep Singh came back from Nangal Ambia. After that his whereabouts are not known to anyone. Punjab police is still doing its best in tracing him and has also booked all four accused for helping Amritpal in escaping. A 0.315 bore, cartridges, walkie-talkie was also recovered from the Breeza ” said Sukhchain Singh Gill.
IG Gill further added that “today, Punjab police has recovered the Breeza car, used by Amritpal Singh and arrested all the four who were with him in Breeza car.”
He further informed that a FIR is also lodged on the complaint of sarpanch Manpreet Singh of Udoke village against Harjit Singh (uncle of Amritpal Singh ) and Harpreet Singh for threatening and seeking shelter from sarpanch Manpreet Singh.
Gill added that Amritpal Singh was already booked under national security act on March 18,2023 and the same day a non-billable warrants were also issued against him for evading arrests.

According to the police, Amritpal Singh was in a Mercedes that he and his aides were being chased by the cops in Jalandhar on March 18 and he dumped it by a road in Shahkot. Later he dodged police and got down from the Mercedes and fled to Shahkot in a Brezza and then escaped on a motorbike in a pant-shirt.
Earlier, in the day, the Punjab and Haryana High Court slammed the Punjab police and questioned how Amritpal Singh could give them the slip repeatedly.
“You have 80,000 cops. What were they doing? How did Amritpal Singh escape?” the High Court asked the Punjab government, calling it an intelligence failure.
