Rikhab Dass Jain (Son of Late Shri Admal Jain), father of Jatinder Kumar Jain, Special DGP, Punjab Police (posted at PSPCL) has left for his heavenly abode on 16th April 2025 at Bathinda.
Born on 19th April 1938 in Barmer, Rajasthan, Rikhab Dass Jain was a man of extraordinary simplicity, integrity, and humility. Throughout his remarkable journey, he devoted his life to truth, selfless service, and social upliftment.
A distinguished Gazetted Officer, he retired in 1995 as Divisional Forest Settlement Officer. Beyond his professional career, he was a dedicated trustee, Vice Chairman, and Chairman of Shri Nakora Parshwanath Jain Trust, where his leadership was instrumental in the growth and development of the Tirth. He also served as President of Jain Shri Sangh, Barmer, Khartargach Sangh, Barmer, and Shri Adinath Trust, Barmer.
His tireless efforts for rural development through SURE (Society for Upliftment of Rural Economy) touched countless lives across Barmer. As Vice President of All India Khartargach Mahasangh for over two decades, and an active social reformer, he championed education, women’s empowerment, equality, and rationality in social customs.
Rikhab Dass Jain’s life was not just an inspiration to his family but to the entire community. His legacy lives on through his children and grandchildren, including his son Dr. Jitendra Kumar Jain, IPS (Special Director General of Police, Punjab), and grandson Rajat Abhinandan Jain, Rajasthan Judicial Services, along with other family members who continue to uphold his values in diverse fields.
Last Rites Ceremony will be performed on April 17,2025 at his ancestral place Barmer, Rajasthan
