Punjab State Council for Agricultural Education gave approval to Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University

The Punjab State Council for Agricultural Education has given approval to agricultural programs at Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib, an educational institution under the leadership of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee. A team constituted by the State Council visited the university recently, during which they inspected the teaching staff, laboratories and farm of the University Department of Agriculture. The Team expressed satisfaction about the teaching staff, laboratories and agri-farm of the University.
Pro-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Ajaib Singh Brar, Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Prit Pal Singh and Dean Academic Affairs Prof. (Dr.) Sukhwinder Singh Billing considered this approval as a great achievement for the university. They congratulated the Dean/Head of the Department Dr. Joga Singh, Department in-charge Dr. Jaspreet Kaur and the faculty members of the department. It is worth mentioning that this approval is given by the council only to the selected educational institutions of Punjab.
Dean/Head of Agriculture Department Dr. Joga Singh said that this success has been possible due to the hard work and joint efforts of all the faculty members, lab staff and field workers of the Department. The Department in-charge Dr. Jaspreet Kaur said that while the department has experienced teaching and non-teaching staff and state-of-the-art laboratories to run the programs, the 50-acre of agricultural farm within the campus required for the field training, is a great facility for the students.
