Punjab University organized special lecture dedicated to Guru Nanak Dev Ji ‘s 550th Prakash Purb

Punjab University Chandigarh organized a special Lecture on the topic “Guru Nanak Dev Ji and Youth”, in which Chief guest Sukhwinder Singh, Chairman, Punjab Youth Development Board (Punjab Government) shared the philosophy and teachings of Guru Sahib with the participants. It was dedicated to Guru Nanak Dev’s 550th Prakash Purb.
He said that Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s views inspire the youth to work hard. While elaborating this, he briefed youth that they must have faith in themselves. He advised the youth to propagate Human Rights and Values. On the occasion, he also gave assurance to solve the problems of the students by sharing their views on various topics related to youth.
Subsequently in the presence of the entire staff, Bindra also planted sapling dedicated to Guru Nanak Dev ji’s Prakash Purb in the University campus. Addressing the participants of the seminar, Punjab University Registrar Professor Karamjit Singh said that a person should practice good deeds in his life. Dr. Paramjit Singh Kang, Chairman Prof. Swain, Prof. Prabha, Prof. Raj Davinder Singh, Birinder Singh Dhaliwal also addressed the seminar. Dr. Paramjit Singh Kang, Chairperson, Department of Life Long Learning introduced the theme of lecture and proposed the vote of thanks.
