Punjab won Gold Medal in 42nd India International Trade Fair 2023

Punjab stall has won the Gold Medal for the Swachh Pavillion for excellence in display in the 42nd India International Trade Fair 2023, which ended today.The 42nd edition of India International Trade Fair (IITF) New Delhi was kicked off on 14 November 2023.This year, the theme of IITF is “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – United by Trade”.
Punjab Pavilion where stalls of various departments and institutes including Markfed, Verka, PSIEC-Invest Punjab, Punjab Tourism, Punjab Agriculture University Ludhiana, Department of Science, Technology and Environment, and Punjab Pollution Control Board have been set up to showcase the state`s culture, heritage, industrial growth, agricultural innovations and handicraft as well as related products.
PSIEC had organised it on the behalf of Government of Punjab. The officials were deputed at the stalls had been informing visitors about the various progressive and pro-people, pro- industry initiatives of the state government led by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
Administrator Punjab Pavilion Davinderpal Singh and Deputy Administrator Gurpreet Singh and other officers received the award from Pradeep Singh Kharola, Chairman and Managing Director ITPO and Rajat Agarwal, Executive Director ITPO.
Administrator Punjab Pavilion Davinderpal Singh has said that winning of this gold medal in such a event of international recognition is a proud moment for the state.
Deputy Administrator Gurpreet Singh revealed that the pavilion was organised under the guidance of Dalvir Singh Chairman PSIEC, Tejveer Singh Principal Secretary (Industries & Commerce), DPS Kharbanda CEO Invest Punjab and Director Industries, Baldeep Kaur Managing Director PSIEC and Rubinderjit Singh Brar Additional Managing Director PSIEC . He further added that the officials deputed at the stalls had informed visitors about the various progressive and pro-people, pro- industry initiatives of the state government led by Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
