Punjabi University announces online counseling for engineering courses

The engineering departments of Punjabi University, Patiala namely Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering; Department of Computer Science and Engineering; Department of Mechanical Engineering and Department of Civil Engineering offer major under graduated courses: B. Tech. in streams with seats mentioned in brackets are ECE (180), ECM (60), CSE (200), ME (180) and CIVIL (180).
These are mostly AICTE approved courses from well-established, experienced staff based departments. Due prevailing condition of COVID-19 and uncertainty of JEE MAINS 2020 examination the administration of Punjabi university, Patiala decides to conduct Online counselling, Online admission process for the above cited courses on the basis of 10+2 marks and merit criteria based on 10+2 concerned subjects.
The Last date to apply online application is 30 July, 2020. The tentative merit list display is on 2 August, 2020. After settling objection in merit on 3rd August, 2020, final allotment and waiting list will be put on 4th August, 2020. The three days (5-7 August, 2020) of fee deposit will be given to candidates.
Subsequent, allotment from waiting list and preference based branch allocation will also be announced through Online mode after completing first round of counselling and admission. The candidates are advised to be in touch continuously with the university admission related website: www.pupadmissions.ac.in. Moreover, the applied candidates will be informed from time to time through SMS also.
