Punjabi University computer science students bought laurels; won Infosys’s MAKE-A-THON 5.0 event

Final Year Students of Department of Computer science and Engineering of Punjabi University, Patiala has participated in the technical event MAKE-A-THON 5.0 conducted by Information Technology leader Infosys and has achieved First Position.
In this event 339 teams from 21 colleges from 7 states has participated for winning the trophy.
On This achievement Prof. Arvind congratulated students, Teachers and all the staff of the Department. Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal along with the students has received the winning trophy at the facilitations ceremony held at Infosys development center Chandigarh.
Dr.Jaswinder Singh, Professor and Incharge-Placement Cell (Engineering Wing) also accompanied the winning team on this occasion and congratulated the team and the department.
Infosys and Punjabi University has long trusted relationship since the inception of engineering wing since 2003 and Placement cell (engineering wing) always works in liaison with the industry and communicates the industry requirements to the concerned departments as communicated by the Dr. Jaswinder Singh for achieving best placement targets.
