Punjabi University gets new director public relations; former IPRO appointed as its director

Punjabi university has appointed Sarabjit Singh Kangniwal as the new director, Public Relations of the university.
Immediately after his appointment, he takes charge as director, public relations, Punjabi University Patiala.
Recently, on January 31,2024, Kangniwal has retired as Information and Public Relations officer from Punjab Information and Public Relations Department. He has a vast experience in the public relations field.
He had started his career as a reporter of a vernacular newspaper ‘Nawan Zamana’ . Later he remained associated with another newspaper Desh Sewak as its news editor.
On his appointment as director Public Relations the vice chancellor of Punjabi University Prof Arvind said ‘it is hoped that Punjabi University will get the benefit of his valuable experience and knowledge and he will make his valuable contribution for the betterment of University”.
Daljit Ami,director educational media research centre (EMRC) who is holding the additional charge to DPR, Punjabi University also congratulated the newly appointed regular DPR of the university.
