Punjabi University organized five top class events in a day

Punjabi University Patiala organized five top class academic events in different disciplines in a day. The university organized diverse events engaging different fields of knowledge production and research i.e. chemistry, applied management, religious studies, digital content production for educational purposes and international scholars engaged with students of social sciences.
MRC, Patiala organized an orientation workshop on “Planning, Preparation and Execution of DTH Programmes” for SWAYAM Prabha DTH Channel Vidhik, a channel of the Ministry of Education, Govt of India on Law and Legal Studies. Scholars from different universities of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh participated in the workshop.
Two day international conference on Recent Advances in Chemistry CRAC-2023(Feb. 23-24, 2023), organized by the Department of Chemistry was inaugurated in the Science Auditorium by Prof. Philippe Schmit Kopplin, TUM Germany, who delivered inaugural address on “Life in a nutshell: an analytical vision of chemical diversity and complexity of biomes and abiomes”.
National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of the campus organised talks on the issue of Mental Health by two international scholars in collaboration with the Department of Psychology, Sociology and Social Anthropology, Publication Bureau. Directors of research from Kent and Medway school, Canterbury Prof Lisa Dikomitis and Prof Sukhi Shergill delivered lectures on different aspects of mental. While Prof Lisa Dikomitis talked about Medical Anthropology and community engagement, Prof Sukhi Shergill delivered a talk on Seeing Voices: Auditory Hallucinations.
The department of Guru Granth Sahib studies organized a special lecture on Prof. Puran Singh, a well known poet and scientist. Dr Kamaljeet Singh from Guru Angad Dev College, Khandur Sahib delivered a lecture on the literature of Prof. Puran Singh and the importance of Punjabi as a language.
University school of applied management organized a special lecture in collaboration with Business Line, The Hindu Group and Indian Oil about career management. Sufi Zahoor, CEO, HumanCap India delivered a lecture and talked to the students and faculty members.
Punjabi University organized five top class events in a day. Prof Arvind, Vice Chancellor said that the day represents Punjabi University in all its diversity as five programs of different disciplines of top quality were organized. In these programs more than a thousand students participated. Scholars from more than two dozen Indian and foreign universities participated in the program.
