Ghuman’s recent visit to Canada were set to rest with his signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the prestigious University of North British Columbia (UNBC). The MoU was signed by him on behalf of Punjabi University with his counterpart, Dr. Daniel Weeks, President and Vice-Chancellor of UNBC, Canada on June 14 last just on the second day of his landing on the foreign land. Talking to the Punjabi University’s DPR, Prof. Gurmeet Maan on phone, Prof. Ghuman said that the pact would be “mutually beneficial to both the universities, especially to the students for reaping the fruits of international exposure and best learning practices.
