Punjabi University’s Research Shines at Global Stage

A research paper by Prof. Sanjiv Puri and his Ph.D. student Harpreet Singh from the Department of Physics, Punjabi University, Patiala, has been selected for presentation at the prestigious Denver X-Ray Conference (DXC-2025), scheduled for August 4-8, 2025, in Rockville, Maryland, USA. Prof. Sanjiv Puri, who is currently working as Registrar as well, told that the paper, focused on experimental investigations of fundamental atomic parameters related to X-ray emission in heavy elements using Synchrotron radiation, highlights cutting-edge advancements in X-ray science.
He told that adding to this achievement, Harpreet Singh has been awarded funding by the Government of India under the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) scheme to support his participation and paper presentation at this renowned international conference.
