Punjab’s senior IAS officer bereaved; mother passes away

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Saturday expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of A Mangamma, the mother of Additional Chief Secretary to CM A Venuprasad, who passed away at Hyderabad due to age related complications . She was 83 and is survived by two sons and two daughters.
In a condolence message, the Chief Minister said that the death of A Mangamma is a huge loss for the entire family. He described A Mangamma as a pious soul committed to the basic human values. Bhagwant Mann said that the path shown by A Mangamma enabled the entire family to excel in every sphere of life and serve the nation with commitment, zeal and dedication.
Sharing his heartfelt sympathies with the members of the bereaved family, Bhagwant Mann prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to family members to bear this irreparable loss.
Meanwhile, cremation of A Mangamma will be held today in Hyderabad at 4:30 pm.
