Rahul Gandhi loyalist appointed as leader of opposition

Rahul Gandhi loyalist Ravneet Singh Bittu, member parliament from Ludhiana, grandson of former chief minister of Punjab-Late Beant Singh has been appointed as leader of opposition in the lok sabha, for the ongoing budget session.
Ravneet Bittu will discharge the role for the ongoing budget session of parliament. Ravneet Bittu is party’s chief whip in Lok Sabha.
While Bittu may have been given the charge of the Leader of the Opposition by the Congress, as long as Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary is busy in the election of West Bengal. The three-time MP will be in charge of the party’s strategy in the lower house as deputy leader of the Congress in Lok Sabha Gaurav Gogoi will also be busy with elections in Assam.
