Senior congress leader Rahul Gandhi today reached Amritsar to pay obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib. There he did sewa including serve water to the devotees. He will leave for Delhi in the morning.

Rahul Gandhi today evening reached Amritsar. He reached Amritsar Airport through a special flight. Congress leaders Gurjit Singh Aujla, Rajkumar Verka, O.P Soni etc welcomed him.

Gandhi’s visit has created a big stir in the politics of Punjab as four assembly by-elections are going to be held in the state on November 20 and in the midst of all this, Rahul Gandhi has arrived in Punjab.

As per unconfirmed reports, Gandhi has a scheduled meeting with the Jathedar of Akal Takht, Giani Raghbir Singh, or Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee President Harjinder Singh Dhami during his ‘personal’ visit.
