Rana KP Singh seeks judicial intervention into ‘vote theft’

Former Punjab assembly speaker Rana KP Singh has sought the intervention of judiciary into the alleged vote theft by BJP in connivance with election commission of India. While talking to media persons here today Rana KP Singh said large scale vote theft is being done in the country by the BJP in connivance with election commission of India to grab power in various states and at national level to deny the opposition their legitimate victory in the elections.
Echoing the views expressed by Leader of opposition Rahul Gandhi he said that a detailed six-month investigation was conducted into the voter records of Mahadevapura Assembly segment, which falls under the Bengaluru Central Lok Sabha constituency of Karnataka . The probe uncovered precise evidence of systematic vote theft.
In the 2024 Lok Sabha Election, the BJP misused the Election Commission and illegally secured 1,00,250 votes in Mahadevapura — a constituency with just around 3.25 lakh voters — to win the seat, he alleged.
He said that in Maharashtra and Haryana assembly elections also vote has taken place and large scale fake votes were added in the voters list to win the elections.
Rana KP Singh said that election commission of India is a constitutional body and it must act impartially and should not connive with a particular particular party to ensure its victory in the elections.
Rana KP Singh said that Congress would not sit quite and launch a nationwide movement over the issue to make the people aware about the illegal acts of BJP and election commission of India.
In reply to a question, Rana KP Singh, welcome the decision of the Punjab government to withdraw land pooling policy and termed it as victory of people of Punjab.
Rupnagar, district Congress committee, Ashwani Sharma, former presidents Amarjit Singh Saini and Sukhwinder Singh Whisky senior congress leader Rajeshwar, Lali,Mintoo Saraf, Prem Singh Dalla,Karam Singh,Bhupinder Singh Railon were also present on the occasion.,
