Road User Behaviour Audit Drive conducted by Patiala Foundation

Road User Behaviour Audit Drive was conducted by Patiala Foundation on Saturday at Bhupindra Road Intersection. The drive was carried out under its flagship Project, SADAK.
Lot of events, camps and drives have been carried under the aegis of Project SADAK which are dedicated towards creating awareness about Road Safety.
The drive saw the participation of members and volunteers of Patiala Foundation along with the members of ProBono Road Safety Cell of RGNUL Punjab.
The volunteers keenly noted various behavioural mannerisms of the Road User and categorised them through different parameters to draw analytical observations. The teams of volunteers were led by the Student Interns from SPJIMR, who are associated with Patiala Foundation through their DOCC Program.
Categorisation of the Parameters included the behaviour of Pedestrians, Two Wheelers and Four Wheelers while being on road, safety regulations and laws being followed. The evaluation of these parameters would help in creating an indicative solutions for behaviour management and policy implementations.
While leading the drive, Ravee Singh Ahluwalia, CEO, Patiala Foundation said that the drive has been conducted to highlight how cognitive structure and road behaviour needs to be noted and addressed for Road Safety Mechanism to work effectively.
