Rotary Club organises blood donation camp at Mata Gujri College
Fatehgarh Sahib-Rotary Club, Fatehgarh Sahib and NSS unit of Mata Gujri College organised blood donation camp at college premises.
Past District Governor of the club Bhupinder Singh Jaggi inaugurated the camp. He said that blood donation is the biggest charity and every person should contribute in this social work by donating the blood.
The President of Rotary Club, Fatehgarh Sahib and Director Principal of the college Dr. Kashmir Singh said, “It is an ethical responsibility of every individual to be responsible for the society and to perform in social work. All the students should participate in such activities so that they can inculcate the values like discipline, tolerance and humility into them.”
The Secretary of Rotary Club, Fatehgarh Sahib and Principal of Khalsa College, Patiala Dr. Dharminder Singh Ubha appreciated this participation of rotary club as well as NSS unit and said, “It is a basic need to develop mankind qualities amongst the students and the teachers can play a significant role in accomplishing this motive.”
This camp has been organized with the help of Government Medical College Rajindra Hospital, Patiala in which staff members and students donated more than 65 units of blood. On this occasion the members of Rotary Club, Fatehgarh Sahib Prof. Gurdarshan Singh, Surjit Singh Shahi, Rajinder Singh Ghuman, Dr. Harjit Singh, Prof. Barinder Singh Sarao, staff members and students were present.
