Rotary Club Rupnagar distributes School Bags in Three schools

In the second phase of the project Nanhe Deepak, Rotary Club Rupnagar distributed 135 school bags to the needy students of three Schools – Government Primary School Shampura, Government Primary School Bindrkh & Gandhi School in Ropar.
In the first phase 65 bags were distributed at Government Primary Smart School, Jhallian Khurd at Bela Road. The event was graced by the Chief Guest Assistant Governor Rotarian Gurpreet Singh. These bags have been given on the recommendation of respective school managements to the students comes under economically weaker background.
Speaking on the occasion Club President Rotarian Sudhir Sharma & Secretary Dr Ankur Wahi told that under this initiative, club has distributed 200 bags in two phases. School Principal & staff appreciated the initiative of club & expressed their gratitude to the club leadership.
The initiative brought joy to the students and reinforced Rotary Club’s commitment to encourage education and supporting young learners. Chairman of this project President Elect Rotarian Gagan Saini coordinated with respective schools & their principals in executing the event in a graceful manner.
Active participation came from club members including Past Presidents Amar Raj Saini, Dr BPS Parmar, Dr JK Sharma, Dr Usha Bhatia, IPP Kulwant Singh & Rotarian JPS Rehal.
