Rozgar Mela: over 200 appointment letters distributed, Padmagandha Mishra, DPS Punjab Circle, attends as chief guest

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the newly appointed candidates via video message during the 17th Rozgar Mela, organized simultaneously at 40 different locations across the country. As part of this national initiative, more than 51,000 appointment letters were distributed to new recruits selected for various government departments and organizations.
A special ceremony was organized at the Patiala Locomotive Works (PLW) Auditorium, Patiala, under the 17th Rozgar Mela. Padmagandha Mishra, Director, Postal Services, Punjab Circle, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. She handed over appointment letters to more than 200 newly recruited candidates.

Addressing the gathering, Mishra congratulated the new appointees and encouraged them to keep upgrading their skills through the Karmayogi Platform. She advised that success should not be a stopping point but a stepping stone to learn new things and move forward. She further motivated the youth to contribute wholeheartedly to the nation’s growth and development so that India can continue to progress.

The event was attended by the newly appointed youth along with their families and senior officials from various departments. The new recruits expressed gratitude to the Government of India and pledged to perform their duties with full dedication, sincerity and commitment to public service.
