RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala, achieves Prestigious ‘A+’ Grade in NAAC Accreditation

Marking a significant milestone in its pursuit of academic excellence, RR Bawa DAV College for Girls, Batala, has been accredited with an ‘A+’ Grade in the third cycle of evaluation by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). This prestigious recognition underscores the institution’s unwavering commitment to quality education, innovation, and women empowerment.
The NAAC Peer Team, comprising Prof. (Dr.) Rajeev Kumar Shukla (Chairperson), Prof. (Dr.) R. Jayachandran (Member Coordinator), and Dr. Bhaben Chandra Neog (Member), conducted an in-depth assessment of the college on February 19-20, 2025. The evaluation covered key parameters, including Curricular Aspects, Teaching-Learning Processes, Research & Innovation, Infrastructure, Student Support & Progression, Governance & Leadership, and Institutional Values & Best Practices.
Expressing her immense pride, Principal Dr. Ekta Khosla stated, “Securing an ‘A+’ grade with a CGPA of 3.33 is a moment of great pride for our institution, which has been dedicated to women’s empowerment and education for the last six decades. This achievement reflects the relentless efforts of our IQAC team, faculty, staff, and students who have worked towards sustaining academic excellence.”
