Rupnagar Cong leaders laud Channi govt’s achievements

Senior Congress leaders of Rupnagar have lauded the achievements of Punjab government led by Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi during last 111 days.
In a statement issued after a meeting former district Congress Committee Rupnagar president Amarjit Singh Saini, Improvement Trust chairman Sukhwinder Singh Whisky, former Municipal Council president Ashok Wahi,former district youth congress president Surinder Singh Haripur,Punjab Congress(OBC department) chairman Gurinder Pal Singh Billa said that had Charanjit Singh Channi got total 6 months tenure as chief minister Congress could have won more than 100 seats.Even now the Congress would form government in the state.
They said that Channi had done a lot for the lower strata of society and corruption and nepotism would be fully eradicated after the formation of Congress government again.
