Rupnagar DC pays surprise visit to the drug de-addiction centre

Deputy Commissioner Rupnagar Himanshu Jain paid a surprise visit to the drug disposal centre located at the Civil Hospital Rupnagar.
On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner asked about the treatment services provided to the admitted patients at the Drug De-addiction centre and encouraged the patients to live a healthy life after giving up drugs. Giving confidence to the patients, he said that after completing the treatment, the district administration will provide full assistance to the drug addicts to get a job, so that the youth should resolutely give up drugs completely.
Himanshu Jain talked to Kanwarbir Singh Gill, a specialist in mental diseases and the entire staff of the De-addiction centre, to learn about the technical process of treatment and to strengthen the confidence and mood of drug addicts through yoga, spirituality, exercise, etc.
On this occasion, the Deputy He also inspected the Dialysis Unit, Jacha Bacha Hospital, and the General Ward .
Himanshu Jain further said that the highest priority of the Punjab government is the health department and he discussed with the patients and doctors and whatever is needed in the government hospital will be provided by the government .
