Rupnagar police arrest gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria’s accomplice, 5 pistols seized

Rupnagar police claimed to have arrested gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria’s accomplice Malkiiat Singh with 5 pistols and 20 live cartridges
Giving information in this regard at the press conference Senior Superintendent of Police Vivek Sheel Soni said that under the supervision of S.P. (Detective)Manwinderbir Singh and DSP (Detective) Rupnagar Talwinder Singh and C.I.A. Staff Rupnagar incharge Inspector Satnam Singh with his team arrested a criminal namely Malkiiat Singh ,who is member of Jaggu Bhagwanpuria gang. A case has been registered against him under section 25/54/59 of Arms Act at Singh-Bhagwantpura police station.
He said that 5 pistols and 20 live cartridges including three pistols .32 bore and 2 pistols .315 bore recovered from him.
He further revealed that Malkiiat Singh along with his accomplices had fired at his rival party at Batala city. In this regard, a case on dated 08.11.2022 under section 307, 148, 149, 379-B IPC, section 25/54/59 Arms Act was registered at Police Station City Batala against him on November 18,2022 in which this accused was on run.
SSP said that after his arrest police remand is being obtained by presenting him before court, from which many other important revelations are expected.
Vivek S. Soni disclosed that accused Malkit Singh had been planning various serious crimes by using these weapons in Punjab which was failed by Rupnagar Police. He was also involved in supplying illegal weapons and drugs in different parts of Punjab as member of Jaggu Bhagwanpuria gang.
