Rupnagar police launch tree plantation drive to mark Van Mahotsav

On the occasion of Van Mahotsav, the district police Rupnagar launched a campaign to plant saplings at police lines, police stations, police stations and district police office Rupnagar. A target of planting 4000 saplings would be plantedf during this season.
Rupnagar SSP Dr. Sandeep Kumar Garg ,while giving information, said that during the first phase of this campaign, about 1000 saplings were planted. This entire event was a reflection of the need to preserve the environment in our daily life and we all should do our part in preserving the nature.
He appealed to the residents of the district to contribute to the maintenance of the environment and to plant more and more plants in the vacant land and maintain them so that our future generations can benefit from nature.
