RYAN Patiala Minithon 2018-Run For Unity

To commemorate the 143rdbirthday of Sardar Valabhbhai Patel, 448 students from Std. VI to XII participated in Ryan Patiala Minithon-2018. The Ryan Patiala Minithon-2018 with the theme ‘RUN FOR UNITY’was flagged off by the Principal, Pooja Sharma from the school. The students stayed on their feet and tried their best to keep moving. On each track, a teacher and a coach was assigned to take care of the students. All the medical facilities, first aid and a nurse was arranged beforehand. With great zeal and enthusiasm. 20 boys and 20 girls were selected from U-14 & U-18category for the final round.
InU-18 Boys the first position is bagged by Wattandeep Singh (IX D), second position holder is Shabaddeep Singh (IX B)and third position holder is Manan (X-B). In U-18 Girls the first position is bagged by Gurnoor Kaur (X A), second position holder is Rehmat Kaur (IX C) and third position holder is Manmeet of IX B.
InU-16 Boys the first position is bagged by Aasa Singh (VIII C), second position holder is Babanpreet Singh (VIII B) and third position holder is Krish Arora (VI C). In U-16 Girls the first position is bagged by Jasmeet Kaur (VII A), second position holder is Ms. Jasmine Kaur (VI C) and third position holder is GunaanAsija(VII C).
Principal Pooja Sharma said that the aim was to bring the students out of the four walls of classroom and build the element of team spirit using sports activity as a tool.
