Ryan School organised Plantation Drive to Promote Environmental Awareness

Ryan International School Patiala organized a Plantation Drives in the third and fourth weeks of July 2025 in a bid to promote environmental sustainability and instill a sense of ecological responsibility among students. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and staff members, who together planted over 100 saplings within the school campus and surrounding areas.
In a heartwarming effort to nurture nature, the students of Std I and II participated enthusiastically in a sapling plantation activity at school. Guided by their teachers, the little learners were introduced to the importance of trees and how they provide us with fresh air, cool shade, and nutritious fruits.
In a commendable initiative towards a greener future, students from Std III to XII actively participated in Plantation Drives conducted at the public gardens of Urban Estate Phase 1 & Phase II. With great enthusiasm and awareness, the young eco-warriors planted a variety of saplings, contributing to environmental conservation and beautification of public spaces.
The drive was inaugurated by Principal Pooja Sharma, Senior Council members along with various community leaders including Manjit Sahi, Karamjeet Singh Kaura,Dhanwant Singh, Tarsem Bretta, C.R. Mittaland Nachhtar Singh who highlighted the importance of trees in combating climate change and maintaining ecological balance. Various native and environment-friendly species were planted, ensuring long-term environmental benefits.
The event concluded with a short awareness session, by the Principal emphasizing the role of every individual in protecting nature under the visionary leadership of the Chairman, Dr. A.F. Pinto and MD, Dr. Grace Pinto who continuously have been working for the growth and development of nation.
