SAD candidate dies in Punjab; no impact on elections

Makhan Singh Tharapuri, 54 ,who is contesting upcoming Punjab elections on shiromani akali dal (Amritsar) (Simranjit Singh), dies. He is a party candidate from Banga (reserved) in SBS Nagar (Nawanshahr).
As per officials “there will be no impact on Election of Banga Constituency with the death of candidate Makhan singh.”
A laborer, he left behind his wife a son and two daughters.
