Swachata Pakhwara
Swachhata Pakhwada started in April 2016 with the objective of bringing a fortnight of intense focus on the issues and practices of Swachhata by engaging Govt of India (GOI) Ministries/Departments in their jurisdictions.Together, they aim to achieve Swachh Bharat by 2019, as a fitting tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his 150th Birth Anniversary. This would mean improving the levels of cleanliness and making villages Open Defecation Free (ODF), clean and sanitised.
