Sant Baba Balbir Singh Seechewal inaugurates NSS camp of Mata Gujri College

Padamshri, social worker and environmentalist Sant Baba Balbir Singh Seechewal inaugurated seven days NSS camp at Mata Gujri College. While welcoming chief guest, Director Principal Dr. Kashmir Singh said, “Concept of service is the greatest concept ever. Pollution and artificial products are increasing day by day. It is the need of the time to get awareness and eradicate such problems.” He added, “Young generation should devote themselves for the betterment of environment and society.”
Seechewal said, “Students are very fortunate who are studying in Fatehgarh Sahib.” He added, “When we do service selflessly, that is considered the true service. In this contemporary time, people are getting careless towards nature and natural resources. Everybody should fulfil their duty towards the protection of this environment.” He emphasized on the basic teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji, ‘Kirat Karo (Do Service), Naam Japo( Recite the name of Waheguru) and Wand Shako’ ( Sharing with others).
On this occasion, Sant Baba Balbir Singh Seechewal also planted a tree. Dr. Bikramjit Singh (Controller Examinations) extended the vote of thanks and motivated students to do service selflessly. 162 girls and 150 boys are participating in this camp.
On this Occasion, Vice-principal Dr. Rajinder Kaur, Prof. Birinder Singh Sarao, Dr. Navneet Kaushal, Prof. Rajinderpal, Prof. Ravinder Kaur, Dr. Naina Khullar, staff members and students were also present.
