Sanvi Sood flags off Rotary club camping group

Sanvi Sood, the youngest girl in India, who has reached the base camp of Mount Everest flagged off a camping group of Rotary Rupnagar members and their families.

Rotary Club president  Harsimar Singh Sitta, secretary Jatinder Pal Singh Rehal and former presidents J.K. Bhatia,  Usha Bhatia, Vivek Chanana, president Parminder Kumar and  members Rotarian Jaswinderjit Singh, Rotarian Varun Soni  visited the home of Sanvi Sood to honor him for her achievement at such a young age.

“The achievement of  Sanvi Sood at such a young age is a source of inspiration to all the children and all the members of the club wish him all the best in the future,” said Harsimar Singh Sitta.

. He also lauded Sanvi’s parents Geetika Sood and Deepak Sood for their hard work in bringing Sanvi to this place. He also said that with the guidance of Sanvi, the club has planned this two day camping and trekking picnic in the mountains.
