Saplings planted at IIT, Ropar under the ‘Tree Plantation Drive’

In compliance to the directions of Navjot Kaur Sohal, Member Secretary, Punjab State Legal Services Authority, SAS Nagar and under the stewardship of Ramesh Kumari, District and Sessions Judge, Rupnagar; Amandeep Kaur, Secretary DLSA, Varjit Walia, Deputy Commissioner and Gulneet Singh Khurana, Senior Superintendent of Police, planted saplings at IIT, Ropar on World Environment Day under the ‘Tree Plantation Drive’.
On this occasion, Dr. Rajiv Ahuja, Director, IIT and Arvinder Kumar, Joint Registrar were also present.
On this occasion, Amandeep Kaur, CJM-cum-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Rupnagar appealed to reduce the use of plastic, plant trees and save the green environment.
