Scholar Fields celebrated Eco-Friendly Diwali

Diwali is the festival of lights that brings good luck, happiness and prosperity to all. The lighted diyas not only illuminate the environment but also has to shack the darkness of poverty and ignorance.
Scholar Fields Public School, Patiala celebrated Diwali with devotion, enthusiasm and excitement with eco-friendly message. Tastefully decorated school campus added charm and religious fervor to the atmosphere. The children filled with the spirit of joy and happiness decorated candles, thalis , earthen Diyas, and made rangolis innovatively with sparkles & different colors. A big Diya of 20 feet was made and displayed in the school campus to motivate the students to lighten the atmosphere with diyas.
All the activities were designed and scheduled to develop a sense of responsibility in students towards saving environment by being ambassadors of change and celebrating Diwali in innovative ways and to make it green and eco-friendly
Principal Chandandeep Kaur told the students about the significance of Diwali- the festival of lights. She asked the students to take a pledge that instead of brusting crackers. The message of planting saplings was also given as a Diwali gift to the environment .
