Due to the prevailing situation and dense fog, Sangrur District Administration has changed the timings of all the Government Schools, Private Schools(Primary/ Secondary) by 10:00 AM in the morning, from 3 Jan to 6 Jan 2018, where as Barnala District Administration has changed the timings of all the Government Schools, Private Schools,Anganwari Centres by 10:00 AM in the morning, from 3 Jan to 13 Jan 2018,
Sangrur District administration ordered the District Education Officer (Secondary) , Distt. Education officer, Elementary to implement the orders. Like wise Barnala District administration ordered the District Education Officer (Secondary) , Distt. Education officer, Elementary, District Programme officer to implement the orders, strictly.
Barnala Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori and Sangrur Additional Deputy Commissioner, Upkar Singh has ordered the change in the timings of the Schools. In their orders, they said that from the past many days and due to change in weather, its not advisable for children to go early in the morning.
