After stellar show of Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab Assembly Elections, the CM-elect Bhagwant Mann today met his party MLAs at Mohali.
In his interaction with newly elected AAP MLAs he shared his plan that they along with Arvind Kejriwal will reach ‘Guru ki Nagri’ Amritsar on March 13th to pay their obeisance at Sri Harmandir Sahib, Durgiana Mandir and Sri Ram Tirath Mandir and to thank Waheguru for this success.
They will seek blessings of God before taking his responsibility as the Chief Minister of Punjab. After that AAP national convener and Punjab President will conduct a road show in Amritsar to celebrate their victory among people and to thank the voters.
Bhagwant Mann said he will take oath as the Chief Minister of the state on March 16th at Khatkar Kalan, ancestral village of freedom fighter Shaheed-e-Azam S. Bhagat Singh.
He directed his party MLAs, would be ministers to remain in their constituencies, in Punjab and don’t come to Chandigarh. “Don’t sit in Chandigarh. Meet the public along with the officers and solve their problems at their doorstep. If any officer hesitates, send him to Chandigarh.”
He further added that “he is open to ideas. Bring ideas, even from public, discuss it with me, we will try to implement that, if it is beneficial for Punjab. Even we as a government seek ideas, help from any state be it Delhi, MP or any other state to bring prosperity for Punjab.”

Later he said “we have received a huge public mandate. Only 17 plus chief minister can be adjusted in the cabinet. As you are a public representative, you are more than a minister.”
Bhagwant Mann shared his rejoice over their party’s historic huge triumph in Punjab where they bagged 92 seats out of 117 to form the government in the state.
