SGH Adarsh School, Chheharta, Amritsar students visited GNDU Botanical Garden

A visit to Botanical Garden was organised by Principal Jagjit Kaur and biology teacher Harmeet Kaur of S.G.H Adarsh School, Guru ki wadali Road, Chheharta (Amritsar ).
Students of higher classes visited *Botanical Garden* of GNDU on 24 august 2022 under the leadership of Rachpal Singh technical assistant of Botany Department.
Students were acquainted with botanical names, economic importance of plants belonging to different genera. Rachpal Singh explained many details of plants very nicely to the students.
Studying plants in their natural habitat enhances students knowledge . So, under his guidance our students observed plants belonging to Gymnosperms, Angiosperms and Pteridophyta. This educational trip to botanical garden was really very knowledge-based for the students.
