SGPC to act in matter of sacred saroops as per orders of Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib

The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami said that, in accordance with the directions issued by the Acting Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, Giani Kuldip Singh Gargajj, the SGPC will take the required action in the matter concerning the sacred saroops of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
In a statement issued here, Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami said that the matter of the sacred saroops had earlier also been investigated under the supervision of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, and departmental action against employees was taken by the SGPC strictly as per the orders of Sri Akal Takht Sahib. As per the latest directions now issued, the SGPC will initiate further action. In this regard, once contacted by the SIT, action will be taken in accordance with the spirit of the orders.
