Special events dedicated to 100 years of martyrdom of Singhs martyred at Morcha Guru Ka Bagh and Gurdwara Sri Panja Sahib have been planned by the SGPC.
In this connection a special meeting of the sub-committee of the Shiromani Committee was held at Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Fatehgarh Sahib, which was presided over by the former president of the Shiromani Committee Prof. Kirpal Singh Badungar. The meeting was attended by Sub Committee Member S. Gurcharan Singh Grewal, Member Shiromani Committee, S. Amarjit Singh Chawla, Member Shiromani Committee, Dr. Prit Pal Singh Vice Chancellor, Dr. Kashmir Singh, Principal, Mata Gujri College, Dr. Lakhveer Singh, Principal, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College, Bhagwant Singh Dhangera, Manager Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib, Narinderjit Singh Bhawanigah, Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib, Dr. Kirandeep Kaur, Head, Department of Religious Studies of Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University.
While giving information in this regard, the former president of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Prof. Kirpal Singh Badungar, said that the SGP has planned special events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of martyrdom of the Singhs who were martyred at Morcha Guru Ka Bagh and Gurdwara Sri Panja Sahib in Pakistan. Various Seminars will be organised and documentaries will be prepared to make young generation aware of the martyrdom.

Prof. Badungar said that under the series of these seminars, the first seminar will be jointly organized by Sri Guru Granth Sahib World University, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College and Mata Gujri College, Fatehgarh Sahib in the auditorium of Engineering College on August 18, the second event will be held in Karnal Haryana. , the third at Virasat-e-Khalsa Sri Anandpur Sahib, the fourth seminar at Takht Sri Damdama Sahib Bathinda, the fifth at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College Ludhiana, the sixth seminar will be held in Delhi, while the 7th main event will be held at Gurdwara Ghukewali Guru Ka Bagh Sri Amritsar Sahib. He said that other events can also be organized by the Shiromani Committee. He said that the manager Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib Bhagwant Singh Dhangera has been appointed as the co-coordinator of these events.
