Sigh of relief for powercom management; engineers decided to suspend their protest . As per engineers’ association spokesperson, “even though we have been given a written assurance, relevant instructions and orders are yet to be issued. The association has decided to return the SIM cards collected from the engineers, back to them by tomorrow afternoon.”
Earlier in the day, the engineer’s association has written a strongly worded letter to PSPCL CMD, in response to the letter written by Director (Administration) to PSEBEA regarding “Request to Withdraw the Protest Call in Larger Public Interest of the Power Consumers of the State.” As per the association “the impression is being created by the said letter that the majority of issues of engineers have been resolved and the Association is on agitation path due to the arrogant attitude.”
The association gave a point wise reply, comments on those eight points, which the Director (Administration) has mentioned in the Memo no 3502 dated 13.08.2021. They requested the CMD that PSPCL Management will also take care of issues being faced by the engineers and will not create new issues just to make the list of resolved issues lengthier.
