Single day highest number of cases in Patiala district; 2 deaths reported

Today 30 covid 19 cases were reported in Patiala district, as per civil surgeon Patiala Dr Harish Malhotra.
Out of these 30, 2 patient belongs to Sangrur, 2 case were reported by Ambala health authorities to Patiala, belongs to Lo Simbly and Jagatpura area. 14 cases are in contact with a positive person, identified in a contact tracing ,One lady who is a bank employee of Tripuri area, working at Malerkotla, got in contact with a branch manager, who was earlier tested covid positive,6 pregnant ladies were also tested positive, 3 cases were tested positive in an OPD sampling, having flu like symptoms, 3 CIA staff members also tested positive.
