Former Rajpura congress MLA Hardial Singh Kamboj who is wanted in an abetment to suicide case by the Rajpura police has returned back from overseas after the high court orders him to join the investigation in 15 days while granting him an anticipatory bail.
According to the reports, former Congress MLA from Rajpura Hardial Singh Kamboj, who was till now residing in Sydney Australia, had applied for anticipatory bail in the High Court through his advocate in Punjab in the third week of December 2022 after the local court denied him bail, has come back after the high court orders him to join the investigation in an abetment to suicide case.
But his son Nirbhai Singh Kamboj alias Milty kamboj is still out of India as he fails to get relief from the court. As per available information now he will apply for anticipatory bail on the same ground on which his father Hardial singh Kamboj got the relief from the high court.
Earlier the Patiala police in the first week of December had issued a Look out Circular (LOC) against the former Congress MLA Hardial Kamboj and his son Nirbhai Singh Kamboj in an abetment of suicide case after they failed to join the investigation.
As per available information, Hardial Kamboj reached the Rajpura City police station yesterday night after landing at Delhi the same day. After reaching Rajpura, he directly went to the police station where the case was registered against him and his son to mark his presence. But, the SHO was not present at that time in the police station.
When contacted the SHO Rajpura Police Station Inspector Rakesh Kumar, he feigned ignorance and said “ I don’t know whether he had come or not. This is not the way to join the investigation at night. There is a procedure to join the investigation. We will call him to join the investigation and at that time he has to come.”
Sought after former Punjab Congress MLA is back from overseas to join investigation . Meanwhile the former congress MLA couldn’t be contacted despite repeated attempts.
