Special Silver Coin dedicated to the 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of the Ninth Guru released: Kalka

President of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, Harmeet Singh Kalka, said that on the sacred occasion of the 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of the Ninth Guru — the Sovereign of Martyrs, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji Maharaj, a 20-gram pure silver commemorative coin has been released by MMTC, a Government of India enterprise. The responsibility for the release of this souvenir coin has been entrusted to the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee.
Kalka stated that this coin, issued in the revered name of Guru Sahib, will be made available as a souvenir for devotees across India and abroad. The coin will be available at government-fixed prices through various MMTC outlets, religious stores managed by the DSGMC, as well as at Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib and Gurdwara Bangla Sahib in New Delhi.
He also said that this coin is not merely a religious memento, but a symbol of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji’s supreme sacrifice and unwavering spiritual strength. He also added just as devotees bring sacred souvenirs from pilgrimage sites to their homes, this silver coin too will serve as an eternal emblem of Guru Sahib’s divine radiance and martyrdom commemoration, for every household.
Kalka also shared that the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, in collaboration with the Government of India, has undertaken this significant initiative with the noble objective of spreading Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji’s universal message of faith, selflessness, and sacrifice across the world.
He appealed to the entire Sikh Sangat to obtain this sacred commemorative coin and thereby contribute to honoring and immortalizing the unparalleled sacrifice of Guru Sahib.
